Organized in 2006, the Krewe of Atlas is named after the mythological Titan warrior Atlas. Krewe Members are bound together by the belief that Mardi Gras is a “Celebration for the Masses.” After storming Olympus and threatening the Gods, Atlas was sentenced to hold up the world on his shoulders forever. Just as the world encompassed people from all walks of like so does our Krewe, and in the spirit of Atlas we strive to lift up our “area of the world” through our community service projects.

Tommi Johnson
Tommi was born and raised in Shreveport but has also lived in other states and graduated high school in Memphis, TN. Tommi has a deep passion for all things hair. She started her dream hair career at 38 and feels it's never too late for a good plot twist! Tommi also believes a good stylist never stops learning. She has been a stylist for almost 8 years, currently working at Georgia's salon in Shreveport. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, shopping, and spending time with her family, and all her fur children. She also just became a first time GLAM-ma to a beautiful baby girl named Kinleigh in July. Family is her favorite thing ever! Tommi has been married to her best friend, soul mate and husband, Justin for 15 years in November. She has 2 sons, Tobie, and Lance, and 2 daughters, Baylee, and Fallyn. Tommi has been part of the Atlas family for 9 years and was Duchess of Water in year VIII, Duchess of Deliciousness in year XII. She is also currently serving as Lieutenant of Merriment and can't wait to represent the mighty Atlas as Queen this year! She's also looking forward spending time with her new best friends, duchesses Brittany and Ashley!

Damon and Brittany have been married for almost 11 years and have three wonderful children, Alyssa 15, Brooklyn 10, and JD 7. Damon is a graduate from Benton High School and is a certified master diesel mechanic and currently works for United Rentals. Brittany is a graduate of Parkway High School and is no stranger to the Mardi Gras world having been actively involved since she was a child rider with Centaur and served as a princess for the Krewe of Centaur in 2005. Damon and Brittany have been members of Atlas for 3 years now and Brittany currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Historian. And Yes….Captain Theresa is her mother!

Keith & Ashley Bodie
Keith and Ashley have been married 10 years this past May. They have two wonderful children Kayleigh 11 and Jaxson 8 and two fur babies, Mo and Maui. Keith is a graduate from Parkway High School and from Louisiana Technical College and is the manager for Toys for Trucks(formerly 4 Wheel parts) since 2015. Ashley is a graduate from Benton High School and is currently employed by Southern Ag Credit. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with family, Keith is an avid fisherman and they enjoy spending time on the family camp on Lake Claiborne. Southern Ag Credit is a proud sponsor this year! And Yes...Captain Theresa is Keith's mother too...He is the oldest!
